I like it :)
Its not really dubstep, though. Sounds more like an electro house track on steroids, you might wanna lay back on the compression a bit, just because the mix is loud does NOT mean its good.
I also really like the variation on the bass but as with compression it could use a bit less distortion.

TheMonstrosity13 responds:

I play guitar in a death metal ban so when I see the word distortion I crank that shit. I want it evil. I want it low. Just woke up and started on my second attempt. I know its not dubstep that's why I tagged it as so many other things. I don't really know what it is. It's me. The Monstrosity. Trying to bust my way through your speakers:)

This song.

Is the best song.

Ever.

Of all time.

Its a bit confusing, could use a more precent rythm, and a more clear progression.

Its a bit cluttered and im not sure where to focus when listening, so I suggest removing some elemnts, correct me if im wrong , but is that some S.O.A.D. i hear in the lyrics?

SoulSecure responds:

WTF are you talking about? Listen to whatever you want, it's all there for a reason. This ain't no pop song, guy. This is experimental shit. I'm guessing you're unfamiliar with things like progressive metal...

Yeah, I used lyrics from System of a Down's song A.D.D.

Pretty good, but some of the higher freq really hurts my ear, its got some awesome instruments and the progression is nice, i suggest you cut down on the bitcrusher tough.

Pretty cool, but...

I think the breathing was cool and especially the way it keeps the "beat", tough I wish it was more "random" and didn't confine itself to a beat.
It was pretty cool, but I wish you could have mixed down the breathing after a while, the way the song "mutates" from a creepy atmosphere to a really symphonic piece really took me by surprise (in a good way).

In all, a pretty cool song, but it could need some improving :)

Good, but...

I know im not the one that should be talking, but it sounds a bit to repeditive.
It would be a great song to play live, but as a guy sitting alone by his computer, its kinda boring.

Oakwood responds:

Yeah, you're probably right. This was a very quick thing I whipped up, though, I didn't really put any effort in it (although I'm still proud of it).
Thanks for the comment!

Awesome stuff :)

I feel the mixing could have been better, but that currently the only drawback i can hear ATM.

BTW, what plug-ins do you use? Ive been using Garageband for a while now and id love to see how you made this :)

OMGL33TH4X0R responds:

Yeah, my mixing skills have always been a little lacking (I'm too impatient for it). Although most of my work is GarageBand stuff, this one was actually done in Logic Express 8. It has a lot more sounds than GarageBand (even with all the jampacks) and I needed some unique sounds that weren't available to me.

decent, but...

Its got a cool feel, but the wobbles could be a bit mor dirty, you could also work on your groove a bit more, I suggest checking out Ruskos Masterclass on youtube.

gavkay21 responds:

Ill be sure to check that out

I made that horribly screechy thing in that fnaf fangame trailer.
